British Open Golf - Royal St George's Golf Club

The 2011 Open Golf Championship returns to Kent and the Royal St George's Golf Club, it should be an exciting tournament with the players heading south for the annual fight for the Claret Jug. Louis Oosthuizen will head to Sandwich to defend the title he won at St Andrews in 2010, the South African was a shock winner on the Old Course and he will be hoping to perform well in Kent.

The tournament will be taking place from the 14th-17th July 2011 and all the bets players in the world will be hoping to follow Ben Curtis who was the winner at Royal st George's the last time the Open was played in Kent. It is the most southerly of all of the British Open Venues but it is a special course just the same, the players will be hoping the weather is better than at St Andrews in 2010 when the wind blew a gale.
