Phil Mickelson - USA
Once again, World Number Two, Phil Mickelson returns to these shores looking for that elusive British Open Title. Mickelson, a left hander, who has in the main, disappointed at this event, especially when compared to his performances in the Majors in the USA. In 16 attempts at the Open, Phil has managed only one third place in 2004 and that amazingly, is his only top ten finish.
