British Open Golf Venue 2012 - Royal Lytham St Annes

British Open Golf VenueFor 2012 the Open Championship will be heading back to its most famous and revered venue, we are all off to the Royal Lytham and St Annes Course once again for the golf tournament of the year. St Andrews is most known as the home of golf and as such is on the rotation for the Open every five years, it is a course that every player in the world loves to play at and 2015 will be the next time we head to the Old Course.

Royal St Georges is the most southerly of all the courses on the British Open Venue rotation and is unique in its own right. It last hosted the Open in 2003 when Ben Curtis lifted the Claret Jug ahead of Vijay Singh.
