British Open Golf Venue 2012 - Royal Lytham St Annes
For 2011 the Open Championship will be heading back to its most famous and revered venue, we are all off to the Royal St Georges and Sandwich once again for the golf tournament of the year. St Andrews is most known as the home of golf and as such is on the rotation for the Open every five years, it is a course that every player in the world loves to play at and 2015 will be the next time we head to the Old Course.

Royal St Georges is the most southerly of all the courses on the British Open Venue rotation and is unique in its own right. It last hosted the Open in 2003 when Ben Curtis lifted the Claret Jug ahead of Vijay Singh. Tiger Woods for one has taken a shine to the Old Course, he has won the Claret Jug the last two times it has been hosted at St Andrews in 2000 and 2005 and will be desperate for the hat trick in 2010.
